His wise words were “keep making “ so this afternoon I sat down with this big lump of mortar and went at it, ( I should have taken a before photo) some hours later this is what I found within.
It’s my biggest piece to date and I’m rather pleased with how it has worked out.
It is still in the vain of folk art / Arte Povera in that I’m using what is at hand to create my art, which is rather liberating as I’m not being precious about it I’m just doing.
